Only the competent system administrators of the Ministry of Social Affairs are authorised to access all of the data mentioned above.

How long data is stored for (retention period):

Data is stored for 30 days in the form of log files.

YouTube videos:

We also embed YouTube content on our website. Your IP address is sent to YouTube when you play such a video. The videos have been embedded in such a way that no data is shared until you click or enable one of these videos. Therefore, no data is transmitted without your express consent.

The social media services mentioned above are headquartered or registered in the USA, so the transmission of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. The European Court of Justice has classified the USA as a country with an inadequate level of data protection. In particular, there is a risk that US authorities and intelligence agencies will access the personal data and use it for monitoring and surveillance purposes. Google LLC is self-certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and is thus covered by the adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023.

Your rights:

You have the rights defined in the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), which means that you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and the right to object.

According to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb@dsb.gv.at; Barichgasse 40–42, A-1030 Vienna) if you believe that your personal data has been processed in violation of Austrian or European law.
